So yeah, I was planning a mass release because this is CKM's first anniversary (well technically, the day I opened it). I
was planning a mass release but I left most things to the last minute. I was really interested in something
else but oh well, whatever.
I'm talking rubbish here, not a very good start to a new year of scanlation huh?
I know that most groups tend to have a dozen manga on their anniversaries, but I don't have the time nor good management skills. I've been kind of creeped out at the amount of homework I've been having these days. Everything that used to take an hour is now taking a lot longer (because I worry about this and that).
And then my parents they are Okay, okay, forget what I was going to say.
I think I'll do another release, updating Re-agree, Cooking Master Boy, Akatsuki no Ageha, Root WPB and Black Trick on the 14th actually, the date when I first released something. My very first edit (which totally sucked by the way. God, it's hideous, maybe I should re-release it or something).
Haha, haha (or should I just say 'lol'?)
So today, you (only) get two releases...
Yan Zhi Cuo Vol02 Ch11 (end)What? We're already at the end? That was wayy too short.
--Actually, I'm pretty happy that I finally got round to typesetting & translating this manhua. It was pretty... weird? Okay, maybe not, because it was a pretty cool chapter (particularly loved what happened to Huangye)
YEAH!! That's our seventh completed project (excluding oneshots of course)!! It's also our first completed project with at two volumes (I know this sounds lame, because all of our previous completed projects are about a volume long).
The Yan Zhi Cuo forum is now in the
Completed Projects forum!
Oh! The download link, I totally forgot:

Gu Fang Bu Zi Shang (novel) Vol01 Ch09Unfortunately for you guys, I'm going to put this project on hold. The next chapter (chapter 10) will probably be released at the start of May.
Why am I doing this? Because I have to get back to a certain project -- and unlike this novel, I actually feel obliged to do it. It's something I kinda like doing, I guess.
So does that mean I don't like translating Gu Fang? No, not really. It's just that the chapter 8 really put me off for a while and I honestly want a break. Novels are so much harder to translate than manga & manhua. Well yeah, it only took me around four or five hours to translate this chapter (easily done in a day) but there are way to many words.
That is my honest opinion. I really need a break from this. Translating is very different from actually reading it. Like, I have to worry about 'is my translation right?' 'is this interesting to read?' 'what is the deeper meaning?' I reckon these questions are very important, particularly the third one, when translating fantasised historical/political novels.
For some reason, Chinese doesn't translate naturally into English in my head, nor does English naturally translate into Chinese. Like... when someone says something in Chinese, I just know what it is, and I don't need to revert to the English word. If someone says it in English, I know what it means as well, but it doesn't 'become' Chinese in my mind. It actually takes a while for me to translate from Chinese to English or vice versa. It's a bit different from Japanese but Sorry, ignore that, I was just bored.
I don't mind if you guys rant (or beg) for releases in the chatbox, just please don't send me any 'inquiring' emails (or I'll probably end up killing you). If you dare send me something like, "when are you going to release chapter 10 of... / chapter 4 of..." or I
will ignore you and feel bad for the rest of the day (while, I guess I can't kill you anyway).
Now that this novel is on hold, I can actually sigh in relief! I can finally get back to
scanlating properly doing my homework!

'kay, I'm done. Bye for now!
xah~
P.S: I'm not in a good mood at the moment, so don't make me even more annoyed, okay?
P.P.S: Ultraman fans, wanted to quote this:

- We're coming up pretty fast with Japan's output in chapters. Which is of course, impressive and awesome! Buuut...
While all that's all fine and dandy, we sadly won't be able to go forward with
Ultraman. Don't confuse this with the thinking that we're dropping the series!
We aren't dropping Ultraman, we're still carrying it! :D
But! Ultraman chapter 14 has yet to be put up online anywhere. No one has it, and no one has any raws for it at all. And the site that did have HERO'S Monthly Feb issue, the same issue that has chapter 14, sadly did not have the chapter at all! But they have chapter 15, and we already have that cleaned up.
So what does this mean?
Well it means that after chapter 12 and 13, then we won't be able to push out anymore Ultraman chapters. At least not until chapter 14 finally comes out online and we're able to get it into our hands.
When that happens then we'll be able to move forward in pushing out more chapters. After all it wouldn't make sense to just skip one chapter and keep moving. Plus chapter 14 is a HUGE important chapter, and is the ending of Volume 2.
So once more, let's review:
1. Ultraman chapter 14 is no where to be found online. No one has it, and there are no raws of it.
2. After releasing chapter 12 and 13, we aren't going to release anymore Ultraman chapters until chapter 14 shows up. Its too important to just skip over.
That's pretty much it for now, just wanted to clear the air so that there's
no confusion when the time comes along. :)
Basically, if you love them and know where to find chapter 14, or you have chapter 14 yourself, make sure to contact OniGoji!!
